Having since finished your new novella, it is now with unease I find myself double checking all I see stirring in the corner of my eye.
Being a fan of such books and films as “The Haunting”, “The Woman in Black”, “Whistle and I’ll Come To You”, “The Signalman” and “The Turn of the Screw” I immediately felt (un)comfortable at Tarnside Hall and made myself at home.
Your book creates atmosphere, suspense and fear without stepping beyond the shadows of the implied.
I thoroughly enjoyed your tale of isolation, dread and threat and I eagerly await further stirrings in the Gothic shadows that you create, with my dark-adapted eye.
